how to prepare

MORE GREEN JUICE!

easy and delicious! here is what you do:
purchase some celery, spinach, ginger, and granny smith apples.  (or whatever green goodness gets you pumped up!)
have a juicer handy (mine is a Breville)
then go to town!

for this green juice i used:
1 zucchini
1/2 of a granny smith apple
2 stalks of celery
a handful of spinach
and a small piece of ginger

next time I might add some lemon and cucumber
to your health!!

Chinatown

Chinatown. What a weird part of town. It smells like fish and piss. And it really feels like you have gone to another country; everyone is speaking in a foreign tongue. They are all shorter than me and way pushier than expected. But it is fun to know that I can hop on a train and in less than one hour be in another world entirely.

grateful

this is me. and my gorgeous husband. i am so grateful for his love every day. he supports me and provides for me and i never have to worry. i know that i am super lucky to be his gal!

i am grateful for the 2,705 days (give or take a few bc math is not my strongest subject) that we have been together! that is so many kisses!

in the middle

you know those moments when you are stuck in the middle of something you really wish you were not stuck in? gum, for example.  dog poop.  

or a subway date.  you are riding the subway, just going home after a full day, and all you hear is:

"I never go to Herald Square. Unless I am shopping"

"I bought rhubarb at the store and I wanted to do something with it but I didn't know what to do"

"make a pie silly!" laugh laugh laugh laugh

"he called and said, I am going clubbing tonight, and it is just that my high school friends really annoy me sometimes"

"i can't deal"

"it's this place that is always crowded and people get arrested."

"i love pies."

"really?"

New York Moment

there is a buzz, a singing whizz, an energy.
